An online training is scheduled for 2-3 September 2026. It will cover the user interface, the daily utilisation of the new station and the new MTG data and applications. It will consist of two modules;
- DAWBEE-MTG station administration and operation
- Station administration for IT staff (1 hour): Design principles and hardware and software components of the station. Inspecting and troubleshooting.
- Station operation for forecasters (1 hour): Basic principles of operation. Main elements of the User Interface and performing daily operations like opening imagery, overlays, animations, external data sources, etc.
- MTG data and applications (2 hours)
- Using MTG in satellite image interpretation for meteorological analysis.
