  • Day 5 will focus on approaches on single-sensor, several-sensor and multi-sensor validation approaches. It will include discussion of FRM data, in situ databases and practical examples of match-up analyses.

    Learning objectives:

    By the end of day 5 you should:

    • Know the value of in situ data, and the need for FRM quality measurements
    • Be able to implement and adapt match-up validation protocols for single- and several-sensor workflows
    • Understand approaches taken to validate multi-sensor merged records
