Dear Mikes,

You have been busy busy with your mind-map brainstorming, even for the second week of event - nice to see that some of you were really interested in the topic. Since Webinars are quite common channels to fulfill some training needs, in recent days more and more, it is no wonder that many more people realize that it is useful to be well acquainted with them. Our session tried to fill this gap and we hope that in a degree we have managed to do that.

However this session is not really done before we give you our feedback to great ideas that you have posted to each of five padlets. It wasn't really easy to sum up all the thoughts written in a form of mindmaps, but we tried to extract the basic things one would need to keep in mind while preparing for a Webinar session. While building your experience with online conferencing you will surely find out many more bits and pieces but for a beginning following web site can serve as a kind of checklist that you can go to any time you are preparing for 'your' session:

https://sites.google.com/site/webinarchecklist/

And you should be proud on this site  - you did that (!) - we only moderated it.

Also, if you want to further develop this page, or maybe have a crazy idea how to build an app from it that can be kind of first-aid checklist, or you just want to comment on it - please write to us. We will also publish short article on this topic in CALMet Commons (calmet.org) so you can pose your comment/ideas there as well.

It was a pleasure to brainstorm together with all of you. Good luck with your Webinar adventures also in the future!

Cheers from Maja, Anna, Lu, Alessandro and Ivan!
