Only to add that you can find the latest Mc-V s/w version available here (for different operating systems): https://www.ssec.wisc.edu/mcidas/software/v/download/
Installation should be straightforward, perhaps best if you create a separate folder (eg on Desktop?) where you would do the installation (especially if you have admin restrictions on your official laptops). But in case of issues you can inquire with us here.
