I'm joining you later in the CALMet online activities. I'm Goama ILBOUDO, I've been working for ASECNA as the Manager of aeronautical meteorological personnel training and qualification. I couldn't join you at thé last online meeting because at that moment I was runing a workshop on competency assessment.
I don't have much knowledge on training with simulators. But I think this approach can improve or enhance the other methods of training as the trainee can be put in fictive situation representing a real one. From my point of view, meteorological simulators might bee powerful tools for competency assessment. It can be used as alternate mean to ask learner to deal with fictive real situations.
I will come sooner with more consistent contributions after having gathered more knowledges on the topic.
