Hi Everyone,
CALMet Online is rapidly approaching its conclusion, but we still have several ongoing sessions yet to be completed, and even one final new session about to begin this Wednesday. We will be wrapping up the conference for good very soon, in time to relax into the holiday season. Thanks again to all of you for making this a very successful conference.
Here is the current line up:
- Tools for Trainers wraps up very soon with the completion of the Learning Action Map activity and a final activity on Implementation Plans.
- Education 2.0 will also offer a new resource and conclude possibly this week.
- A Hitichhiker’s Guide to Learning Theory has 2 final theories to offer (out of 8 total), and these might take 2 weeks to complete.
The final new session will begin this Wednesday. "OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES (OER): The challenge of sharing and re-purposing learning materials," led by Lu Veeck and Maja Kuna, will start with an activity to discover your interests in using and creating open educational resources.
Don’t forget that if you’ve missed any sessions due to your busy schedule, you can still find them available to you on the conference website via recordings or preserved discussion forums—even after the holidays. And if you find that you still have something to add to a discussion, don’t hesitate to contribute something for those who also arrive late.
Thanks again for contributing,
Pat Parrish, WMO
