Week 3. MTG (opens 17 May)
This week, we'll look at how the new generation satellites will improve our capabilities to monitor the weather phenomena over Africa.As we move from Meteosat Second Generation satellites to Meteosat Third Generation satellites, the biggest improvements in Africa will be in better spatial and spectral resolution.You will have a chance to compare MSG and MTG imagery and spot some differences.-
