Tsvet Ross-Lazarov from COMET will offer this workshop. If you are working on a training project you would like to get new ideas, you are welcome to participate in the one-hour discussion.

Design Workshop Announcement

 

Greetings everyone,

I hope that you are well and your work is progressing nicely!

 Vesa, Roro and I would like to offer to our community another Design workshop.  The workshop will last one hour and will happen online on September 27th, 2018 at 14:00 UTC. 

During the first 10 minutes of the workshop, we would like to see or hear how people have used the ideas from the previous Design Workshop early 2018.  If you participated in those workshops, it will be great if you can share with us how you used the ideas. Please let me know if you’d like to share via email.

 

Also, please bring a project that you are working on and we can discuss ideas about implementing competency-based strategies to engage the learners and assess them.   

 

If you would like to bring a project to the discussion, please fill out this form so that I can summarize the problem for the group ahead of time and use our time to generate many ideas. Please complete the survey by September 20th, 2018.

Dear All

It is our pleasure to inform that the September Design Workshop was conducted successfully. We had fun and enjoyed a productive moment of a discussion on Training of Forecasters to support the National Digital Forecast Program, 27 September 2018. 

Next event will be conducted in the second Thursday of October 2018. You can find further information in the post that published by Tsvet.

DESIGN WORKSHOP - OCTOBER 2018

The next Design Workshop will cover the topics of using R programming and using climate information for maritime adaptation and mitigation.  The majority of our time together will be spent in discussion and generating ideas for actively engaging our learners.
