Dear all, 

week 2 is ending and week 3 materials opening. 

The last course week 3 20-24 May will cover the topic Meteosat Third Generation (MTG). This week, we'll look how the new generation satellites will improve our capabilities to monitor the weather phenomena over Africa.

The coming week activities will be fairly simple: you have a short video introducing MTG to watch, and you will have a chance to compare MSG with MTG imagery and see what changes are to be expected in the near future. The Live session Tuesday 21 May will be our last live session within this course, and it will be given by Weather Applications and User Training Expert Carla Barroso from EUMETSAT.

After these activities, you are invited to go through the Final Quiz and fill in the course evaluation. These will open next week, Wednesday.
