This week, your first task is to read through a short chapter

This chapter will give you the introduction to understand how you can get information of cloud height and thickness. Focus only on subchapters Cloud Heights and Cloud Thickness.

After reading, you can learn and exercise identifying Convection, Fog/Low clouds and Dust using the various satellite products we learned in Week 1. These exercises you can find below. On convection exercise you can focus on the first three chapters: Early Stage Convection, Movement of the Convection Systems and Mature Stage Convection.
